Monday I had a scan of the head. Wednesday we discussed the results with the prof. neurosurgeant (my favourite doctor who did the surgery of my head at the start).Great news! There is nothing new to detect in my head. No tumors, nothing abnormal - the brains are very relaxed and healthy. This is definitely the most beautiful - joy-giving picture taken of me (my brains) :-) What a relief. It implies that they can continue the chemotherapy to destroy the gland in the chest. Fantastic.
(This morning I did wake up with some fear that they had taken the file of another completely healthy patient instead of mine - as it looked so perfect - however traceability in these scans and computers will be good I suppose...)
Next: Chemo cycle 5 starts on june 25th with a scan of the gland to see if that continues to shrink - let's cross the fingers for it!!!
