't Een of 't ander? - Either that news or the other?

NL
Voel me echt niet zo gelukkig daarmee... With a little help of my friends...

I had chemo 5 from Monday till Thursday this week - blood had 1100 white blood cells (just enough). Meantime very tired and painful organs (like last time). It was a week with increasing bad feelings in the hospital - the anti hospital attitude and smell and taste aversion there gets worse with each cure apparently... Well - that would still be bearable, if not complemented by contradictory message this week. Monday, the oncologist assistent told us in contradiction to the good news brought by the neurosurgeant (see last message) that there was a little thing to see on the brain scan that now also appeared to be present in the Feb scan (was overlooked)Bad news... The positive about it is that it is very small (2-3 mm) and since Februari stable in size. The oncologis himself on Thursday said it is not sure whether it is cancer - (as it so small en stable - they think there is a good chance it is innocent remainder so far from the surgery. Doctors anyway think of going for 6 chemo cycles (stop after next one) and go to the head radiation, as they are very pleased with evolution of gland reduction. I felt down from this news though - on one hand because news changes (how possible??), on other hand because I had hoped to stop alll two treatments with non-visual remaining cells in both areas so that time would be longer before any next threat would come up again. It is probably going to take me some days again to put all into right perspective and get optimistic about it... with a little help of my friends...
Picture beside is by the way a beautiful gift received from good friends with nice symbol by Le Petit Prince:'(The little prince 'to the cobra snake:): Go away now, I want to go back down!!!!'
